Preparing Artwork for PDFs
Summit Print prefer jobs to be supplied as PDFs - Version 7, PDF 1.6 - (Transparency may not work as expected in earlier versions), with all fonts embedded, and no RGB or Index images and colours.

Summit have produced some ’Setup Guides’ of how to make your PDF files fully usable from
Quark 6, Quark 7 and InDesign.
PLEASE READ THESE BEFORE SUBMISSION!

Loadable PDF settings for Quark 7 and InDesign are available for direct download.
(See files in previous paragraph for installation instructions.)

Click Here, If you require a PPD file for the Macintosh, to print postscript to disc for distillation.
To install, use the System 'Go' menu, and select 'Go to Folder', then input
/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/
including the end slashes and place it in the en.lproj folder (English systems ONLY)

Uploading Artwork PDFs
To Upload job files, you must first have an FTP account with us.

To open an FTP account just send an email (which must include your full company name, address and contact name) to send an email request.
A reply email will be sent, after your FTP account has been set up, along with login details, proof downloader widget and explanation for use and supplying of files.
